I have SO much to be thankful for! Truly, when my heart is aligned with the truth of heaven, every doubt, complaint or moment of anxiety, condemnation or depression must flee away. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word!
Today I am meditating on Ephesians 1 and letting the truth of God's Word flood my heart. May your hearts be filled with gratitude, truth and love as you read about the incredible depths of God's love for us and His grace toward us.
I, (insert your own name here), have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. The Father chose me before the foundations of the world, that I would be holy and without blame before Him. In love, He predestined me to adoption as His daughter through the work of Jesus Christ, according to the kind intention of His will and to the praise of the glory of His grace. I have been accepted in the Beloved. In Christ I have redemption, through His blood, the forgiveness of my sins, according to the riches of His grace which He has lavished on me.
All of His love, grace and glory will culminate in the "summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth." (Ephesians 1:10) Jesus is coming back and He will establish His Kingdom here on earth. All sorrow, all tears, all mourning and pain will fade away in light of His glory and grace. No sickness, no depression, no torment can enter the gates of His Holy City, the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21). There will be a day when we stand with Him face-to-face. We will be with God; we will be His people and He will be our God!
We have SO much to be thankful for! He is coming again! He is filled with glory, justice, love and strength. May this Thanksgiving be filled with the revelation of the beauty, glory and majesty of Jesus Christ. May the truth of His Word and of His love fill your hearts more than the turkey fills your tummy :) HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
