So today marks 3 weeks until I jump on a plane and head to a foreign land :) YIKES! AWESOME! SCARY! EXCITING! So many emotions!!
As most of you know, I am heading to Tauranga, New Zealand to join Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in their Intimacy to Impact Discipleship Training School (iDTS). This iDTS begins with 3 months of training in New Zealand and then about 2 months of outreach in Southeast Asia and/or the Pacific Islands. I am so excited! This feels like a new chapter of life and I'm excited about all of the adventure and "newness" that lies ahead of me.
The last few weeks of preparation to leave have honestly been really busy and stressful. I'm in the process of trying to sublet my apartment and that's been a dramatic task. I've realized the true darkness of my heart and the lack of faith I have in God. And yet He loves me! I am praying everything comes together smoothly and that the Lord continues to work faith in my heart in the process : )
The next few weeks will be filled with planning, shopping, fundraising, sleeping, working, and enjoying every moment I get with friends, family and co-workers! I have realized how very blessed I am over the last few weeks. So blessed.

Please pray for grace and strength over the next few weeks. Please pray that my apartment gets taken as quickly and as smoothly as possible. Pray that the Lord continues to prepare my heart for this next season.

Many generous people have offered to help with my fundraiser! Some people have offered to help with face painting, bringing snacks and donating gifts & talents! I have also received a travel backpack (one that will hopefully fit the computer I'm praying in), that I will be using as my carry-on :) I love my new backpack!
