My Brother

I love my brother! I'm pretty sure that I have the best brother in the world! (You're allowed to think that about your own brother, too). Every time I get together with my bro-yo (as I like to call him), I feel encouraged, inspired and I want to love Jesus and others more. It's a beautiful thing! I'm so thankful the Lord saw fit to hand-pick a brother just like him for me :) Shaun Andrew, you are a gift to me! I treasure your friendship and I LOVE that you are my brother! Thank you for being such an encouragement to my heart, thank you for loving Jesus so much and thank you for all of your brother-ness in my life. I love you! You are such a kind, gentle, tender-hearted, compassionate, strong, bold and wonderful man. I look up to you... and not just because you are now taller than me ;)

Today I got to celebrate my bro's 23rd birthday! I'm not sure how the time flew by so quickly? I can still remember praying this simple prayer as a child before bed: "Thank you, Jesus, for my baby brother. Amen." This was before he was even a thought in my parents heads. I am still so thankful for this answered prayer! HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY, SHAUN! (His actual birthday is August 10th) May the Lord bless you like crazy, provide for all of your needs in abundance and reveal His heart to you like never before! I love you so much!
