He loves me, He loves me not... He loves me, He loves me not... He loves me, He loves me not...
This phrase has been running through my mind the last few weeks... for no reason other than the cry in my heart to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge. I need to know the love of God! Without the love of God I am helpless and utterly incapable to love Him, myself and others. The beautiful thing is that with Jesus the above phrase isn't "He loves me, He loves me not" it is "He loves me, He loves me, He loves me." The beauty of the love of Jesus it that it is faithful, steady, constant, unchanging. His love is the one sure thing in this life for believers. His love doesn't change with the shifting of the wind or the changing of the tides. His love is constant. I am so thankful.
He loves me. He loves me. He loves me.
He loves me so much that He washed me from my sins in His very own blood (Rev 1:5).
If you find yourself being tossed to and fro by the cares of this life, or if your heart needs a reminder of the measure of His love, quietly repeat this phrase, "He loves me, He loves me, He loves me... so much so that He washed me from my sins in His very own blood." Repeat this truth, let it sink into your heart, believe it, enjoy it and tell Him who thankful you are for His love and how much you want to love Him back. I plan on doing this a lot this week. I must know His love. I am helpless without it.
He loves you. He loves you. He loves you. There is no room for "He loves me not" in the love of Christ. Glory!
