The last number of days have been internet-less for us at the base. Some of us are coping well, others not so well. We are a generation so dependent on technology. Crazy! Anyway, I'm sitting at Grindz Cafe trying to catch up on my emails. Sadly, I left my computer charger at the base and my battery is starting to die. So here's a quick update...
*I'm alive!
*We had 4 baptisms on Monday & it was AWESOME!
*The Lord really loves me. I want more revelation of this!
*I joined the choir for the grand unveiling of Gideon's Fields. I haven't been in a choir since grade 6.
*It's been a hard week and I had my first "I really want to go home" day on Wednesday. I'm still very thankful to be here, it was just one of those days and I want to tell ya'll about the good and bad :)
*I learned the Haka. AMAZING. INTIMIDATING. SO COOL.
*I went to Taupo yesterday to "get away" with 7 of the students and one staff. The lake at Taupo is a crater of a volcano ... cool and scary. It was great to walk around the town by myself for 1.5 hours.
I miss you all!
