Rainy Saturday

Today is a rainy, rainy day. So rainy that some houses are starting to flood here in New Zealand. I spent part of the morning helping move some boxes and stuff out of our DTS leaders house and closer to the base. I'm so thankful I brought a rain jacket & splash pants. What a smart idea!

This past week has been amazing! The Lord has really encountered our team here in New Zealand and it's been so good. People are being set free, delivered and healed in many ways & it is so exciting to be a part of what God is doing here. I love it! This week we had Aaron Walsh (Director of the Tauranga House of Prayer) come and speak to us about the Nature and Character of God. It was SO powerful! I literally cry EVERY time he has come to speak to us. He has such authority, anointing and clarity when he opens his mouth it just blows me away! I have felt so privileged to be here in New Zealand at Gideon's Fields over the past week. What a blessing!

Community living has been such a blessing to me, as well. This is something that has totally surprised me! I would not consider myself to be one who enjoys living with a lot of people... 1 roommate is good enough for me. However, I have so enjoyed sharing a room with 12 girls. This HAS to be a miracle. This is NOT normal! I am so thankful, though :)

Life has been really busy here. Some days I don't even have time to check my email at all. The days that I do have time I normally get distracted or find other things I need to do instead ... like read the book that I need to write a book report on, hide in the prayer room and do a devo on the piano, finish my assignments for the week and simply have good conversations with good people.

Once I've had more time to process all that is going on in my heart I'm planning to write in more detail ... no promises, though ; ) If you have any questions or things that you want to know, feel free to leave a comment and I'll try and answer your questions or write a blog in response.

Here are two pictures from my walk around Mount Maunganui (Pronounced Monga-newie). This is a dormant volcano right on the beach - it's beautiful and these pictures don't do justice.
