I make the heart of God FEEL good!

I make the heart of God feel GOOD!

In class this week we were meditating on scripture when I had the revelation that I make the heart of God feel good. This revelation pierced my heart like an arrow. I would have imagined crying or laughing at that revelation but I just sat there amazed. I didn't know whether to cry or laugh.

I don't know about you, but I have so often pictured God as a mean, stoic, detached & disappointed Being sitting on a throne of judgment. I figured that I was far from making the heart of God feel good. I can imagine making God feel disappointed, frustrated, annoyed... but not good.

However, the truth is that I make God's heart feel good. He told me. When He looks at me He sees the blood of Jesus covering all of my lack and instead of being clothed in shame I'm clothed in righteousness. When the Father looks at me, He sees the beauty of His Son. He sees me as holy, beautiful, righteous, unique.. and His heart beats with love for me. He is so moved by me, even in my weakness. He finds me lovely. When I look at Him, His heart is overwhelmed (Song of Songs 4:9; 6:5) He is ravished by me. He loves my love!

I want to marinate for 50 years straight in the revelation that I make the heart of God feel good.

Every time I feel shame, every time I feel condemnation, every time I feel overwhelmed, I tell myself that I make God's heart feel good.

There were a lot of different words the Lord could have spoken to me: happy, sad, disappointed, defeated, etc. but He used the word "good". When God created the heavens and the earth He said, "It is good." When He created man he said, "good". When He said, "Let there be light" He said the light was "good". When He looks at me He says, "You make My heart feel good!" He's not disappointed with me. He's not sad or frustrated about where I'm at, how I feel or how weak I am sometimes. I make Him feel good.

Do you know who you are? Do you know the way that you move God? Do you know that you make the heart of God feel good? I'm telling you, this revelation will change your life!

The all-powerful, omniscient, sovereign Creator of the world looks at my heart and says, "Oh, you make My heart feel good, Stephanie!" I just imagine the King of Kings looking over the balcony of Heaven with a host of angels saying, "Oh, you see that one there? That one, she makes my heart feel good!"

No matter how you feel today know that you make the heart of God feel good.
