Merry Christmas!

It's Christmas in New Zealand today! I'm celebrating with my amazing flatmate, Renee, and her awesome family! It's been a good morning so far. We're about to have lamb, kumara (sweet potatoe) and many other tasty things! This evening I'm heading to another Christmas gathering with the leaders of my DTS. I'm excited to be spending Christmas day with kiwi families when I can't spend it with my own. I miss my family all the time but Christmas and birthday's make it even harder. I've had to make those moments of longing for my family opportunities to lean into the Lord, trust Him, thank Him for my family and then pray for each person that I miss! My family has been receiving a lot of prayer lately :)

Here are some Christmas pictures of the Bollen family & I :)

(This is my amazing flatmate, Renee!)

I'm now living in a house in Welcome Bay, Tauranga. It's an amazing place with an incredible backyard! We have orange and apple trees, a beautiful pond and a weeping willow tree. Our house is the perfect size - it's so cute, warm and inviting. I love it! The best part about my house is my flatmate - hands down. She is amazing! We became friends during lecture phase of YWAM and met in the prayer room. What God-given friendship! I'm so excited to get to know her more!

Well, the lamb is smelling marvelous and lunch will be served soon... May all of you have a wonderful Christmas and New Years! May the Lord draw so near to all of your hearts, bless you with His presence and cause your hearts to be filled with love.

I love you all and miss you tons!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
